Notes from Elder Heap

So this last week Elder Carpenter and I had 4 investigators at church!
With the combination of Elder Johnson and Elder Ward, the other two missionaries, we had 9 Spanish investigators at church yesterday! It was crazy!
Church started an hour earlier due to the primary program so sacrament meeting was combined with the English ward.
Bro. Pasillas and I translated it into Spanish. It was fun. I didn’t do a terrible of a job. Sometimes it was hard to keep up with them, but it was a good experience.
We Spanish Elders here in Gresham are teaching a lot of Cubans.
Both sets of missionaries have one date for baptism each.  Our date is with a guy named Gilberto. I was watching him during church and it was hard to read him. Hopefully he liked it. I am not worrying too much though because we are doing our part in helping him, so I trust that the spirit will be working on him. The members were very welcoming to them.
Elder Carpenter and I are having a lot of fun talking to everyone out on the streets. We park the car and go out talking. That is how we found our Cubans.  It’s so fun!  You get all sorts of people. People seem to think Elder Carpenter is cute.  “You’re cute” they say. haha

I am running short on time but I love you, Mom. I love Dad, mis hermanas y tambien mis amigos. (sisters and friends, just in case you didn’t get that ;))
